What is the best combination of bodybuilding supplements for putting on mass (specific product names please)?

i’m rather skinny, around 6 feet tall and i weigh 145 lbs, i’ve been kinda workin out for the past month taking weight protein and muscle juice but i want more gains in muscle. What is the best combination of supplements (nitric oxide, creatine, weight gain protein powder, amino acids, daily vitamins etc.) that i can take to gain a lot of muscle

please do not say eat a lot of food!!!

If you want real advice from a real trainer, well here it is.

Supplements are exactly that – supplements for nutrients you should be getting in your diet. That being said the only supplement i would recommend to a beginner is protein and a multi-vit. These are essential for real gains.

You havent reached your max potential yet on a regular diet, so how can you add supplements? you will just be wasting your money. Trust me, in know this because i fell into the same trap once.

Try whey protein immediately following a workout (high in carbs) and then drink one more shake throughout the day. Take the mutli-vit as directed. I, personally, take Opti-Men by optimum nutrition and ON Gold Standard Whey or Dymatize Elite Whey.

What would be a good muscle building supplement?

I should also make it clear that my work out options are limited to simply doing push-ups. I’m a poor college kid so I can’t afford a gym membership right now.. Suggestions here are welcome.

Back to my original question, I’ve been mulling over some supplements such as whey protein, rice protein, or creatine. I’m not sure what would be good but if you have any suggestions of how to best build muscles and what to use to help, I’d much appreciate it.

First start off with whole foods that are high in high quality protein— milk, chicken, lean beef and Egg. Low glycemic carbs except right after a workout when you want simple carbs. Don’t ever ever ever buy from GNC check out protein specialty websites. Right now you can go to trueprotein.com and get 50Lbs of Ultra Whey protein isolate for like $250. That is a lot of protein ….so either split it with a few people or you could easily make a profit off this stuff (there is also a 25 Lb for $130) this is the same stuff you buy at a local store for $15/lb. There is a 5% disc code (MKW154) that will bring the price down a bit. It is kind of cool to watch peoples reaction to you "cutting" 50 Lbs of white powder.

If I can only do 2 or 3 chin ups,is that helping anything as far as building muscle mass?

I wait about another minute/min and a half to do another set of 2 or 3,about 2-4 more times.Is this beneficial ?

Yes, how you’re doing it is beneficial. A way you can improve what you’re doing is to add more sets so you’re getting more volume. For example, do 6 sets x 2 reps.

Another thing you could to do is to do as many pull ups as you can and then finish the set with lat pull downs, assisted pull ups or negative pull ups (slowly lowering yourself down), depending on what you have available. For example, in a set of 12 you may be able do 3 pull ups so you would then finish the set with 9 lat pull downs.

How do I gain muscle mass by working out, instead of loosing weight?

Hello, My name is Sam and i’m a 20 year old college student. I want to start working out gain muscle mass, but not loose any weight. I’m 5′2" and only weigh around 90 pounds. Both of my parents are skinny, and we all have fast metabolisms. I want to get in shape, but I’m afraid by working out I’ll loose weight instead of gaining muscle. I need some suggestions on what type of workout I should do to gain weight.

Man I know how you feel! I was 6 tall and 100 pounds when I first went to college. I could eat a whole cheese cake and lose weight. I worked out and ate constantly but got very little results. I found out at about 25 that I was doing it all wrong. When your naturally skinny you have to not only adjust what you eat but when you eat. Don’t worry about working out and losing weight when your trying to gain it. You would be surprised at how much of a visible difference it makes if you lose 5lbs of body weight of fat (even though your skinny you do have some fat on you) and put on 5lbs of muscle. Your weight will have stayed the same but the physical transformation and how you look will be night and day. The site below outlines a program tailored around skinny people trying to gain weight. The guy that designed it used to be one of us "skinny guys" when he was younger to. It has meal plans, tells you what to eat and when to eat it as well as exercises to help you gain the weight you want.
