Simple Exercise Tips
For most of us we’d broken our New Years resolutions almost the second we made them but even the most dedicated of us have long forgotten them by now. When we had out to the super markets we’re back to throwing all that ice cream and chocolate in the trolley and the only time we ever run is when we’re trying to get past the fresh fruit and vegetable isle as quickly as possible. You’ve got just a couple of short months before the summer arrives so if you do start doing something about it now you might still be able to do something about it and make sure you look as fabulous as possible when the warm weather and skimpy clothes roll around.
The best thing is if you start now you’ve still got time just through doing something as simple as sorting your diet out and introducing some exercise to your lifestyle. Start with some basic fitness equipment. You can keep this simple rather than shelling out loads of money on something like a power plate but something like an exercise ball will be enough to kick start your exercise routine. Try some simple sits ups by lying flat and bending your knees slightly, bring your fingers so they’re just touching the side of your head. It’s very important that you always keep your back straight and you chin tucked in as you raise the top part of your torso just off the ground. You shouldn’t sit up all the way as it can damage your back and your stomach muscles are getting all the workout they need from the smaller movements. If you do have access to a vibration plate they’re great at helping tone your muscles too and can really boost any workout.
Your diet is just as important as exercise though so don’t forget to drink lots of water, this will help alleviate any bloating by flushing salts and toxins out your body. I know you’ve heard it a thousand times but you also need to make sure you’re getting lots of fresh fruit and vegetables too.
