atrexxx… I don’t think your explanation of why we need whey protein makes sense. You don’t take whey protein because “we need it.”
Why do you we need it?
Because whey protein is easily absorbed by our body since our liver doesn’t have to do too much breaking down of these amino acids (proteins). Whey protein is not complex like fish or beef. After a strenuous workout, the body needs an immediate supply of protein. Eating meat would take hours to break down and absorb. That’s why we take whey.

Yes, protein is in almost all foods, including vegetables. However, you have to eat pounds of vegetables just to get 1/3 of the protein in food. If it’s everywhere, then why take additional protein in a bottle? Just get it from food in a balanced method! Everything in life is about balance. Too much of anything can turn against you.

Sorry, but I don’t agree with you! You can have both, muscles and strong bones because if muscles are growing, your bones have to get stronger, too and of course, they definetaly get stronger! That’s just a physiological process in our body. Latest research show that you can get best results if you work against osteoporosis with high weights and low reps!!!!!!

First of all, Whey protein is dangerous because it usually comes from cows that have been injected with hormones. You might as well inject yourself with hormones too. Also, you have to chose between strong bones and big muscles. Bone loss does not show immediatly; you will notice it it as you age. If you take too much protein for your body, you will regret it. You may start to appear better looking, but the long term effects are not worth it. DO THE RESEARCH! YOU WON’T REGRET IT.
